RACE REGISTRATION

You can register for the race using the online form. If the participant limit (3,500) is not reached, you can also register at the race location in Bedřichov during check-in.

If the participant is under 18 years old at the time of the race, they must, after registering through the online form, additionally send a scanned application in written form with the signature of a legal guardian to the email address info@ctauthorcup.cz.

The application is valid only after the entry fee is paid. If the application fee is not paid within 7 days of registration, the organizer has the right to cancel the application. The date when the amount is credited to the organizer's account is decisive for the amount of the entry fee.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE

Online registration closes on October 10, 2024, or once the race capacity is reached. If the capacity is not filled by this date, you can register on-site in Bedřichov during check-in.

Check-in times:

• October 11, Friday: 13:00 - 22:00
• October 12, Saturday: 7:00 - 9:15

The list of accepted and paid registrations is available on the website www.ctauthorcup.cz.

Acceptance of the application and subsequent confirmation of participation is conditional on the payment of the entry fee. Payments are regularly matched with applications. If the fee is not paid within 7 days, the application is automatically deleted and you need to register again.

If your payment does not arrive by the registration deadline (October 12), you will be required to pay the entry fee again during check-in. This entry fee will be refunded once your original payment is credited to our account.

NOTICE

Please note that due to the production lead time of personalized numbers, we must close the database at least a week before the race. This means that if you register late, your placement in previous years cannot be considered and you will be placed at the end of the starting lineup. Therefore, please register well in advance. The value of the assigned starting number will appear on the list of registered participants after registration closes. You will receive printed race information during registration. For those without internet access, the starting list will be posted at the check-in location.

ROUTES

The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the race route depending on track conditions or forestry activities by Lesy ČR.

• Entry fee paid by June 30 (or until the first 1,000 places are sold out): 900 CZK including VAT
• Entry fee paid from July 1 (or after the first 1,000 places are sold out): 1,000 CZK including VAT
• Entry fee paid at the start: 1,200 CZK including VAT

SHORT ROUTE - 41.9KM

• Entry fee paid by June 30 (or until the first 500 places are sold out): 800 CZK including VAT
• Entry fee paid from July 1 (or after the first 500 places are sold out): 900 CZK including VAT
• Entry fee paid at the start: 1,100 CZK including VAT

*Note: For payments made by bank transfer, the fee must be paid by October 9, 2024, at the latest.

CANCELLATION OF PAID ENTRY FEE

Participants can cancel their paid entry fee by October 5, 2024, at 12:00 PM. The entry fee will be refunded minus a cancellation fee of 400 CZK.

CHANGE OF DATA IN THE APPLICATION AT CHECK-IN

In the case that another participant will be using your race number and a change of details is necessary, an administration fee of 400 CZK will be charged.

MEN'S CATEGORIES

• Juniors "MJ" (up to 17 years old, born in 2007 or later)
• Men "MA" (up to 40 years old, born between 1984 and 2006)
• Men "MB" (up to 50 years old, born between 1974 and 1983)
• Men "MC" (up to 60 years old, born between 1964 and 1973)
• Men "MD" (over 60 years old, born in 1963 or earlier)

WOMEN'S CATEGORIES

• Juniors "ZJ" (up to 17 years old, born in 2007 or later)
• Women "ZA" (up to 40 years old, born between 1984 and 2006)
• Women "ZB" (up to 50 years old, born between 1974 and 1983)
• Women "ZC" (over 50 years old, born in 1973 or earlier)

TEAM COMPETITION

As part of the longer route, there will be a competition for corporate teams. The number of teams from one company is unlimited. Participants in teams will also be individually ranked. Teams can have a maximum of 5 members and a minimum of 3 members and may include top performers who are not employees of the company.

Teams can be mixed, with both men and women starting for the same team. The team's ranking is determined by the sum of the times achieved by the first three members. In the event of a tie, the ranking of the first team member will be decisive.

TEAMS WITHOUT ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

Teams can register using our online form. Teams can only participate in the longer route.

• For participants who want to create a team without advertising opportunities:
  • Entry fee paid by June 30: 4,500 CZK including VAT
  • Entry fee paid from July 1: 5,000 CZK including VAT
  • No additional entry fee for individual participants!

CORPORATE TEAMS WITH ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

It is necessary to contact the race organizers (due to the signing of an advertising space rental agreement).

• Placement of advertising panels at the race venue
• Team start from the first wave
• All team members have free entry to accompanying events (V.I.P. banquet, etc.)
• Entry fee: 10,000 CZK excluding VAT
• No additional entry fee for individual participants!

WILD CARD

You can apply for a wild card only via email at info@ctauthorcup.cz. Please include links to results of similar races in your application. The request will then be reviewed, and you will receive a notification.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please bring proof of payment to check-in in case of any issues. If paying the entry fee for multiple participants with a single payment, please send an email to info@ctauthorcup.cz with a list of the participants covered by the group payment.

The entry fee covers the organizational services provided by the race organizer, including medical and event services, timekeeping and results processing using chip technology, refreshment services during the race including energy supplements on the route, massage services at the finish line, technical support, bike washing, bike storage at the finish, accompanying program, and information services.
